This privacy policy pertains to the handling of personal data of visitors to our website, supporters, testimonials, and other interested individuals (the "Data Subjects") by fpap-europe.org (hereinafter "FPAP-Europe" "we," or "us").

fpap-europe is owned by the FP AP Association based in Brussels (Belgium). The organisation is responsible for processing personal data. If you have data protection concerns, you can contact us

We only share your information with our service providers who help us operate our business, in which case those third parties are required to comply with the GDPR framework.

3.1 Improving the user experience

We primarily process personal data obtained from Users (emails, name) through our newsletter form, payment process, submit a request form or contributor form, to improve the user experience and process payments through our marketplace. We may use the personal data also to inform about new products, updates in our marketplace send offers, and so on.

We use this data to manage relationships with Data Subjects or based on consent, as voluntarily provided by Data Subjects.

This website collects personal data to power our site analytics, including:

However, the involvement of data processors is possible, especially in connection with external IT service providers. Information/Access: Data subjects have the right to inquire whether personal data about them is being processed and, if so, what this data is. Requests for information can be made for this purpose.

Correction: If personal data is incorrect, data subjects have a legal right to correction.

Withdrawal of Consent: If the processing of personal data is based on the data subject's consent, the data subject can withdraw it. The withdrawal does not affect processing based on other legal grounds. The withdrawal applies only to the future.

Restriction: Under certain conditions, data subjects can request the restriction of the processing of their personal data. This may occur if the accuracy of the data is doubted. Please note that this may restrict or even prevent the provision of services in individual cases.

Data Portability: Data subjects can request the personal data they provided to us in a commonly used and machine-readable format and, subject to significant conflicting interests, reuse it.

Deletion: Data subjects have a legal right to the deletion of their personal data if it is no longer needed for the purpose for which it was collected, or in case of justified objection or withdrawal of consent. Complaint: We also inform that data subjects have a legal right to file a complaint with the supervisory authority if they disagree with the handling of their personal data.

The data processing by us generally takes place in the European Union. Cross-border disclosure of personal data from European Union is possible. Therefore, your data may be processed in Europe, the USA, or, in exceptional cases, in any country worldwide.

The disclosure is made to countries that have an equivalent level of data protection, through the application of appropriate data protection guarantees (especially the standard contractual clauses of the European Commission) or with the consent of the data subject.

10. Duration of Storage of Personal Data

Personal data of data subjects is retained for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, or as long as we have a legitimate interest in it. In case of withdrawal of your consent, we delete your data from that point onwards. Legal retention obligations remain reserved.
